PRODUCTS WE OFFER

High quality standards.

We carry several thousand frames from thirty-five companies and over 400 museum grade mattes. We provide countless design options that will suit any project and aesthetic need. Everything is thoroughly inspected and re-inspected to meet our high quality standards. Below you’ll find just a small sampling of the products we carry.

MOULDING

Our frames are produced from the highest quality materials and guaranteed for life. We carry a range of woods primarily from Italy, Spain & England. Our metallic frames are produced both in America and Denmark. We DO NOT sell plastic, polyurethane, or particle board frames.

MATTING

Matting is fundamental for aesthetics but it’s primary purpose is to act as a buffer to elevate glass from the surface of your art. This is very important and protects your art from deterioration and fading over time. We carry 4-ply and 8-ply acid free conservation grade and archival acid-free matte board. We also carry acid-free conservation linen, suede, silk and cork mattes as well.

GLASS & PLEXIGLASS

We offer the highest quality glazing options available in regular, antiglare, UV protective and Museum glass. We also carry museum grade acrylic optimum three (Plexiglass) for over sized pieces due to weight and safety hazards. Plexiglass is just as clear and translucent as glass but a much more impact resistant option.

ACID-FREE FOAM CORE

We use archival acid-free foam core to further preserve the life of your art. We mount pieces using archival hinge mounts so that you can remove the piece at anytime. If clients are framing posters that they want dry-mounted we’re happy to oblige after they sign a release.

MOUNTING

We exclusively use acid-free archival hinge mounts for all artwork that we frame and it does not damage or harm artwork. For those clients who are framing posters and pieces of no monetary value we’re happy to dry mount your pieces upon request.

CUSTOM CRAFT PAPER

We use custom craft paper to seal the finished back of all our frames. This provides an extra layer of protection to preserve your piece against dust, moisture and particles while allowing the art to breathe. This also prevents the frame from rubbing off color or chafing your walls.

PREMIUM WIRE AND WALL HANGER

Every frame that we produce comes secured with premium coated wire for easy displaying. The hanging system includes accurate and professional hanging hardware for both the correct weight and size of your piece. We never use sawtooth hangers or plastic hangers.

FREE Consultations

We offer FREE consultations and estimates on all projects. The normal turnaround time for a custom framing projects can range between two to three weeks. One day and RUSH service are also available for every project. We also offer FREE pick up and delivery services (up to 40×60″ within 2 mile radius) to our clients in the DC area for their projects.
